Guided walking tour in Trondheim. The guide will take you through the city centre, passing Nidaros Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, the old warehouses, the old town bridge and the lunch will be at the Fortress of Kristiansten. Bakklandet is maybe the most picturesque part of the old Trondheim, with small wooden houses and cafés, restaurants and small shops. Lunch included.

The Mayor of Trondheim will host a Reception in the Nidaros Cathedral. A concert will be given in the Cathedral. Music recital on the Wagner-organ (1739) in the Cathedral offer sublime listening experiences under the high vaulted arches.

Thursday June 24
A visit to Munkholmen, an islet in the fjord, is highly recommendable. It was one of the first monasteries in Scandinavia and later a state prison and fortress protecting Trondheim. The boat trip takes ca 10 minutes.
We will have a guided tour in the fortress and have lunch in the Commanders residence. NOK 320,- (€ 38) Lunch, boat trip and entrance included (The price provides a minimum of 15 persons)
Conference Dinner at Lian Restaurant, situated in the outskirts of Trondheim. Lian has a very good kitchen and a breathtaking view. We will go by the veteran streetcar from the City center. NOK 850,- (€100) Lian Restaurant

Saturday June 26
Guided tour in Trondheim. The tour includes a guided tour by bus through the city centre, passing Nidaros Cathedral, the old warehouses, the old town bridge, photostop at "the Viewpoint" and some of the old social institutions in Trondheim. You will also visit the Sverresborg Folk Museum. NOK 420,- (€50)(The price provides a minimum of 15 persons) Entrance included. Meeting point: Trondheim Town Square - outside the tourist information. (Conference attendees will be picked up at the conference venue)
